SWIM SCHOOL

Pools located at Whites Farm in White Colne, Colchester County High School for Girls, and Home Farm Primary School in Lexden.

The school pool is a 25m x 8m facility with a depth ranging from 1.2m to 2.1m, making it an ideal space for training. This 4-lane pool is equipped with starting blocks, offering a professional environment perfect for swimmers looking to improve their technique and stamina. It provides an excellent training environment, ideal for pre-competition swimming practice.

Additionally, there is a comfortable area for parents and carers to wait, with a convenient spot to purchase coffee, ensuring a pleasant experience while waiting. With all-year-round training opportunities, the pool offers a consistent and reliable space for swimmers to develop their skills throughout the seasons.

Whites Farm is based in the beautiful location of White Colne. Nestled within the hills the views are to die for,  with orchards and farm land surrounding the pool. The pool is owned by Sally and Angus who’s family have farmed the land for many generations. The pool is very well maintained and is in easy reach of Bures and the surrounding villages.

The school pool is a 12m x 8m facility with a depth ranging from 1.03m to 1.18m, offering a safe and comfortable environment for swimmers of all levels. Recently refurbished, the pool now boasts a polycarbonate tunnel roof, providing shelter during the warmer months. The newly refurbished changing rooms enhance the overall experience, ensuring both comfort and convenience for all users.

The pool is partially raised, adding a unique and accessible feature to the facility. It is maintained to the highest standards, ensuring it is always warm, clean, and inviting. Located locally, the pool provides a friendly, calm, and safe environment for swimmers to enjoy, making it an ideal spot for lessons and training.

Swimming lessons will be taught by experienced swimming teachers. The environment of the pools will be clean, well maintained and a safe place to be, for both parents and swimming students.
